If your team wants to be clinical in finishing off good set piece and continuity then the pass to put a player in for a try becomes the most crucial component.

C the gap (picture 1): A takes a pass; B makes a decoy run and C comes inside to take the switch pass into the gap.
D-lightful (picture 2): A takes a pass and runs across the defence; B makes a decoy run, C joins the line and D takes the switch pass from A into the gap.
E-asy does it (picture 3): A takes the pass; C makes a decoy blindside run; A passes to B who runs an angle alongside D; E runs an opposite angle and takes a switch pass into the gap.
