Get players using the non-ball carrying arm to manage the defender and offload the ball
Mark out a 5m circle. Put a feeder at the side of the circle, an attacker near the back of the circle and a defender at the front.
When you say “go”, the feeder passes to the attacker. At the same time the defender comes forward into the circle to challenge the attacker.
The attacker aims to keep the ball out of the grasp of the defender until the feeder has run around the back of the circle, at which point the attacker offloads the ball to the feeder.
Swap the side the feeder starts from and go again, then rotate the players.
You will need
A 5m circle
1 ball
Cones
Bibs (optional)

What to tell your players
“Twist and turn your shoulders to keep the ball away from the defender”
“Pass the ball up with the palm of the hand under the ball”
