Dan Cottrell

Dan Cottrell is the editor and Head Coach of Rugby Coach Weekly.

Dan is a practising RFU Level 3 coach and coach educator coaching with the Bristol Bears DPP programme and is a coach mentor for Broad Plain RFC mini and juniors section. He was Head Coach of Swansea Schools U15 and has previously held coaching roles with the Young Ospreys Academy and as Assistant Coach with the Wales Women's Team for the 2010 World Cup.

Dan was director of rugby at Cranleigh School, and played rugby for Bath, Bristol, Esher and Clifton. He also represented the South West Division, Gloucestershire RFC and Surrey RFC.

He has been editor of Rugby Coach Weekly since 2003 and has written over 20 rugby coaching manuals.

In his spare time, he is a keen golfer, a charity trustee and a very slow bass guitar player.
