Quick coach: Sprint ball
“Attackers race onto the pass, so they don’t break stride, taking the ball comfortably to sprint to the end.”
A 10m by 5m box, and two balls.
HOW TO PLAY
- Put two attackers at one end of the box. Put a feeder for each attacker in the middle of the box at the sides, with a ball each.
- Start the attackers, who sprint forward, take a pass and race to the end to see who is the winner.
- The winner stays racing, the loser swaps with their partner. If a player wins two times in a row, they get a point and become the feeder.
- Make the pass longer.
- Have the losing team “start” the race. That attacker runs and the other player must react.
With odd numbers, rotate the players after each go.
