Keeping players moving into position to receive passes by not starting in position to receive the pass.
Six cones, one ball.
Set up the cones as in the top illustration. Adjust the widths to suit your players. A pair of players start behind each cone, at the two-cone end. More pairs can organise themselves ready for the next go. One pair has the ball and runs out, with the player behind the ball carrier running into position to take a pass. The other pair aligns to receive passes, with the last player running wide. The players realign on the four cones and then run back, passing to the original ball carrier. The next four get ready to go.
Development: When the four turn, the front players on the two cones come out to pressurise the ball carriers.
Once the four players have reached the cones and started to come forward, they pass to beat two defenders
