EXPERT SESSIONS AND ADVICE FROM QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED GRASSROOTS RUGBY COACHES

Positive social distancing sessions – let’s keep going

Many of our sporting friends are facing tough times with lockdown rules reducing opportunities to play.

However, if you can get out onto the pitch, but are perhaps limited to what you can do within your bubble, here are some ideas for sessions.

These can act as alternatives to games of Ready4Rugby or other touch variations.

GAMES

Here are two box type games. The first is played around a box, the second around a triangle. Each one works on movement, communication and handling. Because they are in small areas, they are ideal for warm-ups.

SESSIONS

Here are two 20 minute sessions which focus on skills under pressure. You can split your players into groups and work in small bubbles.
