How to score the best try of 2018 | Plus activities for defence, scrum and evasion
The Sky Sports try of 2018 was scored by Jersey Reds in their English Championship game against London Irish. Their attack coach Ed Robinson gave me some amazing insights into how the try was crafted, including nuggets you probably won’t pick up from just watching the clip.
Of course, there’s plenty of planning and preparation beforehand. Again, Ed tells us in the How to score from anywhere podcast what they do in training, plus how he helps the players during the game to see the opposition’s weaknesses.
Listen out for ideas on:
- The players touching the ball 1000 times during a day.
- How to read a defence.
- What makes better players even better player.
Plus, Ed opens up on his own journey in coaching.
